Frequently Asked Questions

Fastelle uses your menstrual cycle phase to tailor your fasting window each week. During your period and the follicular phase, shorter fasting windows are recommended. As you approach ovulation and into your luteal phase, your plan adjusts to match your energy and hormonal needs.
Cycle-synced fasting aligns your eating and fasting windows with the four phases of your menstrual cycle — menstrual, follicular, ovulatory, and luteal. Each phase affects hormones, energy, and metabolism differently, so your fasting goals are adjusted accordingly.
Yes. In the Plan tab, tap "Edit Plan" to customise your fasting windows for each phase of your cycle. Your changes are saved and applied to future weeks automatically.
Fastelle is a wellness app and is not a substitute for medical advice. If you have diabetes, a thyroid condition, a history of disordered eating, or any other health concern, please consult your doctor before starting any fasting regimen. Fastelle provides a conservative 12-hour plan for users who disclose certain conditions.
When you log a meal by description, Fastelle sends the text to OpenAI to estimate nutritional content including calories, protein, carbs, and fat. These are approximations and should not be used for medical or clinical dietary decisions.
You can manage your Fastelle subscription at any time through your iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions, or via the App Store. You can also tap "Manage Subscription" in the You tab within the app. Cancel at least 24 hours before your renewal date to avoid being charged.
Yes — new subscribers receive a 14-day free trial before their chosen plan (monthly or yearly) begins. The trial is only available once per Apple ID.
Tap "Restore" on the subscription screen. Fastelle will check your Apple ID purchase history and restore your subscription if one is found.
All your personal health data — including fasting records, weight logs, meals, and cycle information — is stored locally on your device. Fastelle does not upload or store your health data on external servers.
Uninstalling the Fastelle app from your device will remove all locally stored data. Note that subscription records managed through the App Store are handled separately by Apple.
